Working With Wheels
We'll discuss what authors and illustrators do and what roles words and images play in picture books, focusing on my book What Do Wheels Do All Day? We'll explore the many places we see and use wheels every day and imagine what our lives would be like without them. These are some of the things I thought about when writing the book. Then, we'll dive in to a "wheely" fun art project, using paper collage just like Wheels illustrator Giles Laroche. I supply all manner of round things to be used as wheels—you supply the creativity!
